Honeycomb-core panel

This panel is composed of a perimetrical structure called a frame, of a honeycombed cardboard structure and of covring panels.
The frame may be in solid wood, MDF or chipboard while the panels are available in plywood, MDF or chipboard.
The honeycomb-core panel is used mainly for the construction of doors and structural elements (side, top and bottom panels) of wardrobes or of large storage units.
This material ensures:
- resistance and stability of the single elements and of the entire wardrobe structure.
- less stress to the structure thanks to lighter wardrobe doors that weigh more or less 40% less than doors made of chipboard panels.
- greater durability because honeycomb-core panels allow numerous assembly and disassembly operations without jeopardising the stability of the wardrobe.
